Responsibilities:

Cogent Communications France is looking for a Customer Support Engineer to strengthen its team in Paris, France. The position involves:

  • Responding to customer calls
  • Providing Level 1 support for internet and IP services
  • Incident management
  • Monitoring and managing alarms for infrastructure in Cogent’s data centers
  • Controlling access to Cogent sites
  • Managing maintenance from our suppliers and others

The work is done in collaboration with our two other European centers based in Spain and Germany

Qualifications:

  • Languages: Fluency in written and spoken French and English is required. Knowledge of other European languages would be an advantage
  • The candidate must be reactive, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience in a similar role would be a plus
  • Position is based in La Garenne-Colombes (Paris, France). Work shifts include morning or afternoon hours
